Profile tips

Don't feel like applying? With a profile on seniors@work, clients can easily find you and contact you directly. A profile also makes it easier to apply for jobs in just a few clicks.

Step 1 – Your personal details

Enter your first and last name in the appropriate fields. Clients will only see your first name. We take privacy very seriously.

Step 2 – Desired employment

In the next step, indicate the maximum workload you would like to work. This information is not binding. Apply for anything that appeals to you and communicate clearly with the client.

Step 3 – Salary Expectations

You have the opportunity to inform potential clients of your desired hourly wage.

Step 4 – Experience is worth its weight in gold!

It is important for clients to know in which activities you have the most professional experience. To do this, select one of the tiles. A page will then open where you can specify more detailed knowledge from this activity.

Step 5 – Your professional stations

In order to be able to offer you suitable jobs, it is important for clients to know which specific tasks you have carried out in the past. Therefore, enter at least one job title from your last professional station. Below you have the possibility to indicate further relevant positions.

Step 6 - Every experience is valuable

Finally, you can now specify in which other areas you would like to support clients with your experience. This also includes knowledge from non-professional activities, such as honorary posts or hobbies.

Step 7 - Learning is a lifetime

Let potential employers know what special training, diplomas and technical knowledge you have. Do not state your apprenticeship position, job-related knowledge and diplomas from the last few years are more interesting.

Step 8 - You, in one sentence

Who are you? Summarize your professional career in one sentence about yourself. This is the first sentence clients will see on your profile.

Finished! – A picture says more than 1000 words

Profiles with a profile picture get more attention than those without. Upload a portrait of yourself in which you are clearly recognizable.
