Your tasks

Technical responsibility: You are responsible for the various aspects of Microsoft Endpoint Services. Thanks to your networked thinking, you understand complex issues quickly and pragmatically and can process technical requests for operations professionally.

Further development of the Modern Workplace Service: You continuously develop the needs of our customers in close cooperation with service managers. You keep an eye on technological developments on the market and assess possible implementation for the service.

Collaboration in projects: With your professional experience and know-how, you make a significant contribution to the success of projects. You represent the interests and strategies of Modern Workplace Services and ensure successful implementation.

Collaboration in operations: You support your colleagues in the roles of 2nd level support, change management and service operation management with more complex technical problems and continuously share your knowledge.

Insight into our work

IT BS is the internal IT service provider of the Canton of Basel-Stadt and is part of the Department of Finance. The department provides the collaboration and communication infrastructure for mobile and stationary IT workstations and the associated support. In addition, IT BS is also continuously developing various services for the public in the area of eGovernment and digitalization. Functioning IT is central to the efficient operation of the cantonal administration.

your profile

Experience: You have completed higher education in IT and have several years of experience as a system engineer and/or solution architect in the Microsoft environment. You have successfully worked on and completed major IT projects.

Personality: You are a team player and problem solver and act competently and confidently towards customers. You communicate your point of view clearly and at the appropriate level. Your area of responsibility is well structured and transparent.

Education: Very good demonstrable knowledge and many years of experience in M365 (Intune and Entra ID) are a must. Knowledge of other MS products as well as ITIL 4 and IREB are an advantage.

Language: Very good written and spoken German (C1) is essential. Good technical English is desirable.
